English speaking at Telmex

Hi
I am still in Canada and want to speak to someone at Telmex in the Chapala area. I have phoned the number for Ajijic but all I get is a Spanish recording and my Spanish is not anywhere near good enough to understand. I'm working on it daily.
I need to ask them about getting a line installed to a home I purchased in San Nicolas. There are no lines to the house in this new gated community and it's up to me.
Can anyone help me out with this ?

Call the 800 number in Mexico City. 1-800-123-2222. Use Skype so you can select the country without figuring out how to get an 800 number in Mexico. Ask for English.
