Well in Spanish camioneros refer to truck drivers but in Mexican Spanish camioneros can mean truck drivers and/or bus drivers since in México camiones is the popular way they call buses here. Other Spanish speaking countries usually say autobuses.

Always a good idea to read past headlines, given so many articles use clickbait headlines these days, then you find out the article says something quite different than what the headline led you to believe. Also translation apps can give you some pretty hilarious translations.

But in this case, as Dichosalocura points out, "Camiones" is one of those words that Mexicans can apply fairly broadly, requires context, and confusing to those not fluent.
