Talavera bathroom sink

Other than the store San Antonio west of Paninos are there other stores in the area.

Other than the ones offered on TOB, you could always shop online... even Amazon has them. I have been to Dolores Hildago. A nice town with tons of ceramics.....

It is less than an hour from San Miguel de Allende and there are Talvalera stores throughout the town. One of the factories, though, is a wonderful place to watch the Artisans hand painting tiles and sinks on the upper floor. The lower floor is a sales outlet with lots of product to cash and carry.

Next year bring back one of these.  I bought it at San Antonio shop, Poncho's the shop nearest to Paninos.  

And yes, his name is POncho, not Pancho.  Poncho is nickname for MXN men named Alfonso.  

I have a couple of Canadian friends who also bought one to bring home and installed in their Canadian houses.
As I don't live anywhere near Dolores hidalgo (but have been there) I took them to "Mundo de Azulejos" in PV, where they packed it up in layers of newspaper, then cardboard, then cleverly tied it up with a handle made of a piece of plumbing conduit, so it could be carried like a piece of luggage.
And there was a woman there who always recognized me, as I had bought my sinks and other stuff there, and always offered a nice discount.

Mundo de Azulejos in PV is also an amazing Talavera store. That where we bought our tiles from for the house in San Pancho.

Although the toilets are beautiful, I have to say, it seems a bit strange to have a heavy decorated work of art to poop in.

We found 2 at a Talavera place in Joco. Not busy with a bunch of stuff. Very nice Mexican scene.
