ATM VS WISE money tx

FYI:
i've found that tx of funds from my Canadian bank account to BBVA via Wise is more economical for cash withdrawals than making the withdrawl from the Scotiabank ATM directly. I use the BBVA ATM. Lesson learned better late than never...

I transfer with Xe to BBVA but it typically takes ~3 days for it to drop in. Using the NOB bank card is instant, so you pay "a bit" extra for the convenience.

It’s probably your bank. I transferred at 6am to my niece’s bank account. Her bank notifies her.  At 7am she brought me the money from her home stash.

I dunno... My bank will notify me in about a half day the $$$ was taken out... then in a few days I will see it here. Xe site also mentions 2-3 days for it to happen, I just do not expect it sooner. But I will look into it.

The tx is made within seconds.

The time it takes an XE transfer to arrive depends, for one thing, on the method you use to pay XE. For example, card payment vs transfer from your bank account.

Wise tx Canada or US to Mexico almost instantaneous

When I made my first WISE transfer some 5 years ago I goofed up and had to call WISE customer service to cancel the transaction. Fortunately someone answered the phone and he walked me thru the process. Then he said he thought the market would move my way in a few minutes so just sit tight. I did just that and he was right, so I pulled the trigger. Since then I have never had a problem again. Usually the transfer hits Bancomer in a couple of minutes.

Takes several days using xe from my Canadian bank account to BBVA.

I have been using Wise to transfer money from Canada and the USA to BBVA for more than five years.  Usually takes minutes to show up in my BBVA account.   Great service.

I transfer money directly from my Canadian Scotia account to BBVA. It is usually there the next business day.
