Telcel purchase

I am planning on buying an LG970H or similar smartphone. Is there a Tecel Dealer that will program the phone in english and install english apps? A lakeside.

That's Telcel. They probably will. Try phoning them. They may have answers to your questions. They're in the telecommunications biz and like to make $ off of people. And yes, there is "A lakeside.".

Any idea where would be the best location at Lakeside. I appreciate your imput.

There is a TelCel shop tucked in right behind the Casino on Juan Alverez (west of Bugambilla Plaza). I have recently used their services and yes they will program everything for English.

What has been peoples experiences using the TelCel store off the lateral and not behind the casino?

Many complaints about them but I never had any problems with them and use that store. I speak Spanish so I do not need any help programming the phone, looking at my messages or putting a card in there, never used them for that.

I hve done that and never had a problem. I alwys double check what goes into the system even when I input a card.

Libel laws in Mexico prevent me (and many others I suspect) from being specific but I will NEVER go there AGAIN.... nuff said...

you have to get your curp number ( free )... available in ajijic, on colon st. directly across from banamex.....

I thought the CURP requirement had been discontinued, and the data base expunged. That's what I read in the Torreón paper a couple of weeks ago.

Nope they used someone's CURP # when I bought a Telcel simcard the other day. I received a text telling me my phone has been activated with such and such CURP #!
