Well, born there yes. But lived in Timmins from age 2 so I would say she is actually from Timmins. And, just for fun, I would call Detroit a suburb of Windsor.

This one was an LOL, Pete. I moved here over seven years ago from the Detroit area, so I know exactly what you are talking about. My favorite question to people who ask me where I am from is to tell them that I am from the only city in the continental U.S. where you drive due south to enter Canada, and then watch their blank faces.
