Scorpion lollipops

Does anybody know where lakeside that I can purchase these lollipops?

I have seen these in Phoenix and some of the tourist traps in PV and Manzanillo but don't recall seeing any around here. I would check the little booths along the Chapala Malecon.

Would some Scorpion Mezcal work as a substitute?

If you look closely, there is a scorpion in the bottom of every bottle!

This would be a worthy substitute if I cannot find these lollipops. Can this be purchased lakeside please tell me it can be.

I will go to the Chapala Malecon tomorrow.

If anyone were to have it, I would suggest Paz. The bottle in that photo is their top of the line but their "blanco" also has the scorpion.

Last time I was Lakeside the scorpion lollypops were available at a downtown stand on the main drag into Jocotepec. Left side going west (south side). They had everything you can imagine and some you can't. I had a pineapple and hot pepper combo. Very interesting!

Sounds like something the Chinese would have in their open markets. The Chinese will eat anything. YUK! YUK! YUK! YUK!
