I saw a small bloom in Jocotepec about 5 days ago and thought, "oh, that must be where the water treatment plant is."

Today it looks like popcorn popping up, I can literally see it spreading across the lake in front of my eyes.

What? How? Why? I haven't seen it for years.

It might have come with the runoff from a damn they opened up somewhere.
