new INM requirements for visitors?

We were lucky to get our FM3's under the old rules under the wire (than you Spencer!) but have friends who've been coming down for many years on 180 day tourist visas. They've heard a rumor that these will now be tracked to make sure you don't exceed 180 days in any calendar year, making the old "visa run" a thing of the past. I tried looking this up in the new regs but my Spanish simply isn't good enough. Any definitive info>

Not true. Back-to-back Visitantes are still OK.
