Hubby will be traveling from Nuevo Laredo back to Chapala. Would appreciate any suggestions or tips for this trip. Take the bus or fly? Also any experience with travel agents would be helpful. TIA

Barbie, one way flight is around $320.00 USD. Aero Mexico....buses are probably less than 50% of flying.....How fast do ya want ta git him here? Surte

Just checked AeroMexico for a sample flight on 28 March. Flying one way from Nuevo Laredo to Mexico City to Guadalajara was quoted at MX$3164. Same day flight from Laredo TX to Monterrey to Guadalajara was quoted at MX$2313 (about US$185) and this trip takes about 5 hours.

ETN bus from Nuevo Laredo to Guadalajara on same day leaves at 3:30pm and arrives next morning at 6 am, for a cost of MX$1300.
