Water taxi rescues 4 Empty Water taxi rescues 4

A few hours ago the Ajijic Water Taxi rescued 4 people from the middle of the lake. Apparently their pleasure craft sank and they were clinging to the submerged bow for several hours. Lucky for them, Salvador the taxi captain spotted them and went to assist.

Any word as to why their pleasure craft sank? I am typically surprised when reading the online edition of INFORMADOR each Monday or even Tuesday about the number of people drowned in Lake Chapala on a weekend. Granted most of the reports come out of the Ocotlan or SE portion of the Lake rather than Chapala.

Apparently it got pretty rough in the middle today with high winds and it flipped over.

Was down at the lake today and it was really windy....and crowded with the puente folks. Hope everybody's okay.
