How about providing some of us non-residents an idea where these current fires are?

This is just east of SJC, about in front of Piedra Barrenada. The fire started close to Racquet Club, and is now heading east

This was taken from a neighbor`s mirador.
Today, only a few small fires left. We'll see if they grow back again.

Jeez, more unattended fires burning brush. An idiot neighbor in the Haciendas, the fire that nearly burned out The Ranch, this one near SJC....

i asked her for the help because she claimed to know the terminology and i didn't, so what is your point.
do you want to take over this task? even though the brush unit is no longer available, the other things are. oh, i forgot you don't live here and it would require someone that does and a great deal of their time as well.
since you think this is a joke ms thang, perhaps you are up to helping with all your knowledge?
i will give you all the files.

Me too, Trailrunner. It´s like you know some annoying little critter is yipping, yapping and snapping but you can´t really hear it.

So..... trailrunner was the only one you knew Lakeside that had any pull and knew the terminology. Imagine that.

she had no pull but did brag about her background as an emt, so i took that at face value.
by the time i found someone[retired mex/am firechief from cali and now here],i had educated myself enough.

Not an ounce..just observing. BUT I DO know, if it were important and I believed in it...
I would have been a little more interested in making it happen...especially if I had all kinds of influence with the higher ups...which I don't.

i was referring to "your imaginings" as your area of expertise and nothing more. the project in question had nothing to do with knowing any "higher ups". trailrunner simply refused to help after being asked to do so by me. one does not have to like someone to help 250,000 others unless your name is trailrunner,i guess. i only met her face to face once at wally world so i have no opinion about her character except her refusal to help all those people and 23 +/- fire departments and cruz roja. fortunately someone else got cruz chapala a working portable defib. as far as i know the"jaws of life" in tizapan is a crowbar and that emt unit services all the way to san luis soyotlan. there is still only the one defib in chapala for the general public and one in private hands in ajijic.also a private clinic on the south shore. wanna guess how many elsewhere around the lake?

Dear Pedro
Before you start a rant, you might consider looking at the number of empty beer bottles next to your chair. If it is more than say 10 or 12, wait until the next day. Your posts MAY be easier to comprehend.

Also sentences begin with a capitol letter and end with punctuation for a reason. It means people know when a thought starts and stops... Oh never mind. What am I thinking?

I thought I heard a helicopter water bomber around - that's what they call in if there are lives at stake. Sure enough, Sr. Google says Jalisco has at least 4 of them
