I didn't get any sprinkles north of the Parroquia, but I heard the clap too and am enjoying the heavy cloud cover and lover temps right now!

I was awake at 3 am this morning smelling rain. Mentioned it to hubby when he woke during the night. Don't think it rained, though. Nice smell!

Definitely thunder earlier on in the evening. My husband heard it in SAT and I heard it west of San Juan Cosala. The road was wet through San Juan Cosala shortly after 7pm.

Apparently they received a hail storm in Mazamitla yesterday afternoon according to a story in INFORMADOR.

They also have a web cam which helped me keep my sanity and desire during some cold winters. Some good video and pics too.

The weather underground shows 3 stations in the area, Riberas, Rancho del Oro and Villa Nova, although I do not know if the Villa Nova one is Darryl and Gails. Beer
