Found - Tilley Hat

I found a Tilley hat on Ramon Corona, right beside the LCS. If this belongs to you (or someone you know) send me a PM with the color and size that was lost.

Do Tilley hats have a number on them?  If yes Tilley might know whose hat it is.

Nope no number, just the label that tells you about the Tilley hat guarantee that states it is insured against loss and damage so perhaps this person will get a new one instead.

Did you check the " secret" compartment inside the hat? There may be a name tag there if you're lucky.

These are the Canadian Tilly survival hats. Boil it in one gallon of water for one hour - you will have a delicious soup AND a source of sterile drinking water.

Well the owner contacted me after seeing this post and I have since reunited the hat with it's owner. Case closed.

 

I would have told him to pack it away for his trip home and given him a suitable "Mexican hat"

I'd never heard of a hat that came with a 4 page owners manual til I googled Tilley hat.
