Allergy test?

My Doctor is unaware of any facilities that do allergy testing lakeside and suggests that Guadalajara is the only option. Is anyone aware of a lab or office that provides these tests locally?

You might check with ISILAB (next to Dermika) in Ajijic. 766-1164

your best off getting tested by a dermatologist who specializes in allergies and uses the tests developed by such pharmacuetical companies as the dermatological division of miles laboratories.
ferget the labs here-they ain't equipped and are not run by the above type specialist. guadalajara is the answer. have yer doc find him for ya.

google allergy testing so ya know what is involved and why a pro must do it. don't let anyone tell you that a lab or gp can.
many years ago miles labs dermatolgicals was a client of mine.

Oye Bart,

Here is a recommendation for what it's worth. I've been seeing Dra. Garcia since October of 2012 and in my opinion she's very good... solved all the problems with my allergy to the dust in Chapala. However, you will need to be able to speak Spanish ( or take a translator ) and her office is located in Guad.
