Early morning band practice

was anyone else awakened by the practice session of La Banda Tradiconal de Ajijic at 7:30 this morning? In case you missed it here it is: La Banda Tradiconal

Dude that's late! In Ajijic in November I have heard them at 4:30am during Festival.

Sorry to say but they are not practicing, they will not improve unfortunately for us all.
Where I live people serenade newborns and mother in te middle of the night just for 20minutes..7.30 is not early here.

This is true and amazingly so. It doesn't matter how many times the play the same songs over and over and over again, they somehow manage not to improve a single note. It's extraordinary, really. I don't know how they do it.

it's done on purpose because it's more fun that way! it's really not a mistake.

The crowds around them see to nave no problems at all.

It's Constitution Day today, so I'm not surprised the bands were out.

Sorry Pedro you are incorect, banda music is plain bad. We have it in southern France and northern Spain we have even a big banda festival in May in a town called Condom in Southern France . Banda music is internationally known as being bad and not improving, it has been going on for centuries without any obvious improvement
I have to say the Mexican banda is even worth than the Spanish or French music but they atr obviously related.
At least over there they have a fstival raise hell for 3 or 4 days and go back home until the next festival.

i said it's bad on purpose. and they seem to have fun doing it and the people have fun dancing to it too so how am i incorrect? see mike's link above
