Bad Service from a Company in Guadalajara

This company does not exist. After three frustrating weeks of trying to get a hot water heater repaired or replaced and paying up front for what I never received, I went to the location in Guadalajara that they advertised as a business. No business was there. It was a private residence. No way to trace anyone and the money for the product that I paid for was gone. They went back into the residence and said wait a minute. After about 10 minutes a man pulled up in a red VW and was very rude and basically would not talk to me and turned around and left without any explanation. Initially they asked for money up front after they came out and said it needed a new heater and said that when they installed the heater the next day, they would give me the receipt and guarantee. The telephone was answered at the beginning and they repeatedly promised the next day at a certain time and after I called to see what had happened with the heater and installing it, no one would answer the phone and I used another phone three times and they stopped answering that and another and they answered the first call from the new phone and then ceased to answer once again. In the end, I had to buy another heater locally, pay someone else to install it and was out the of the money and heater that I paid for. Never pay cash up front without a proper invoice like I did. Please, never call or use this Company. It is not for real. Let your friends know too. I don´t want you taken like I was.

Agreed. Find a local contractor who uses good specialists and let him purchase/install/resolve your problems. Yes, the contractor will get some percentage of purchases and work, but he will get those purchases and work for much less than you could.

Definitely. I had to replace a water heater and I shopped the local guys and got a great deal at Amutio. Ran into a small problem and went back up there and it was taken care of immediately.

I am told the Tapatios tend not to support our local stores and workmen so I try to do so as much as possible. They are our neighbors and their well being affects us.
