Mexico Bars Entry to Minor Criminals

Mexico, Cancun, has been refusing entry to people with minor criminal records.  There is a long thread about this on the following link.  One of the posters, Nicky, is a former Immigration Officer for Canada. He/She explains the new computer system used in Mexico, USA and Canada.

Maybe they don't want any competition for the local criminals.
