Someone crashed into the liquor store

So a very drunk woman crashed into the liquor store near the bus station in Chapala. The aftermath was quite spectacular . It appears that no one was injured but a fight broke out between the owner, Monteon, and someone who wanted to pay off the owner instead of the woman going to jail. He said no deal. There might be more to this story .
I don't know how she did it but it looked like she drove down the sidewalk and then after crashing through the security door , neatly parked between the potato chips and the cooler stopping just short of the counter where you pay with the metal security door on top of the car.
So if you heard the cacophony of sirens a little while ago that's what that was all about. It was really something.

Miracle no one was killed.

When an owner refused I assume fair compensation for and accident there is always something amiss!

I would think the money was not fair compensation otherwise why not accept it?

Well he wanted to make a deal but I don't think he could show him the money right then. Besides , the police were already there and they wanted to take her.

When she gets out of jail she should head to the nearest AA meeting.

Maybe she thought it was a drive-through liquor store.

YES,  maybe that's the reason, as Ms. Thang explained,  that she managed to  " neatly park between the potato chips and the cooler

Maybe she was refused service in the store, went back to her car in a rage and decided to turn the store into a drive-in. In the muddled mind of a drunk, that would make some sort of sense -- especially if she is one of those drunks who just gets meaner, nastier and more stupid the more she drinks.

Forced imbibing by a licorería?     Even if she bought the alcohol there, she would have to go outside or to her car to drink it.  Better for the owner, if he had let her consume it on the premises.

... and called the police before she got in her car.

There certainly is a lot of speculation and pre-judgment going on in this thread. Do we even really know if the lady was actually drunk? If so, we still don't know her motivations.

I don´t care what her motivations were. She could have killed somebody.

That's certainly an understatement for this thread or any other thread on this board, for a condition that is endemic.
