Does anyone have experience with VivaAerobus?

There is new service on VivaAerobus from Guadalajara to Houston. Prices really beat United. Does anyone have experience with this ariline- good or bad please.

We took VivaAerobus to Tuxla (sp) in Chiapis. Follow the rules for example 10kg (22lbs) total per person on take on luggage. This includes purses and handbags. That was about the only odd thing other than paying to get on the plane first. Standard 737 Boeing plane. Everything is an option. No surprises for us but we bought the ticket at a travel agent. Website was not usable but have heard that they have changed this.

I take them about 6 times a year but only nationaly. The booking is a little tricky as you have to remove the extra charges for insurrance and other things if you want to pass.
The luggage allowed is limited but otherwie I never had a problem with them. They are barebone but they are cheaper than other flights

I know airlines have good days and bad days. 2 years ago we waited 5 HOURS for a flight from GDL to Monterry, Mexico. No compensation was ever mentioned. A few of the other passengers said this had happened before. Maybe it doesn't happen much, I don't know.

Yes, all airlines.... I had that same experience a while back flying United from Houston to GDL.
