Digna Salud

Digna Salud is a clinic supported by Carlos Slim that provides VERY inexpensive imaging tests, blood tests and free optical testing with 180P prescription glasses.  It is well organized and has new equipment.
There is more than one Digna Salud facility in Guadalajara.  The easiest one to get to is on Avenida Americsa just as you turn from Avenida Mexico.

Their hours are 7-7 M-F, 7-5 Sat and 7-2 Sun.

Some of the tests available are:

electrocardiogram

Pap

x ray for plaque

Bone density

Mammogram

Ultrasound 4D

Diabetes testing is free.

They have many packages available.  The women's package which includes a mammogram, bone density, eKG, and pap smear is 350P

Directions:  Take Lopez Mateos to the circle at Avenida Mexico and take the first exit onto Avenida Mexico and then drive to Avenida Americas.  Make a left turn making sure you finish the turn in the right lane.  Salud Digna is about 3 doors down.  Since parking is at a premium there is an attendant there to help you.



Not all test results are available the day you are tested and can be available as late as one week later.

Four of us went for testing and then two of us went back one week later to pick up everybody's test results.  It took no time as they are very organized.
