BTW, the Coldwell Banker thread
A couple of folks sent messages saying they thought it was a good idea I deleted the thread. I wrote back telling them it really was unintentional. I trust they believed me and I hope you do too. It was a compete screw up on my part.

Do you do backups? If so, restore the thread. Easy peas.

The whole site is backed up every day. Single threads cannot be restored, only the whole site, which means we would lose everything from the point that it was deleted until now. It's not that important. People can add their comments again if they want, or better yet, send your comments via e-mail directly to Coldwell Banker.

Caldwell Banker is like a sick person who doesn't want to find out what is wrong with them for fear it might be bad....so they will let this potential cancer get worse, much worse!

Re: BTW, the Coldwell Banker thread
I think in the grand scheme of things Coldwell Banker really doesn't give a rat's ass about some silly little web forum and the few people that hang around on it. While they may show over 10,000 members I can assure you that only about 150 are active and/or give a crap about anything on it. The same can be said for most forums.

Re: BTW, the Coldwell Banker thread
I am sorry that you believe that a vocal forum...no matter how small, cannot effect a problem that it targets.
You are right that many ex-pats have a very low knowledge of the country they have chosen to live in....but there are many people who do take an interest. When you allow or avoid standing up to a person like Moderator aka Bully aka Dictator than you should't have bothered setting up this forum....I would guess that if it is just a hobby than raising guppies would have been cheaper and would have produced more attractive results.
I hope you will activate the influence that you may not realize you have and go after problems.....

I fail to see the connection between CBob's views on the efficacy of haranguing Coldwell Banker and his ability to run a forum.

I think benji's obsessed with mc and might want to think about giving it a rest, who really cares what some mod on a different forum does or says?

Benjji, mi amigo, please don't let your own words be lost on yourself. Seize the moment and go for it. I don't think you will ever find a better, ready made platform, paid for and administered by someone who would encourage you to be all you can or want to be. I'm sure more than a few of us would enjoy a righteous crusader, a rabble rouser while being happy to pack the ammo.
Of course this advise goes for all our members, so have at it!

And don't be using anyone's real names on here again or you will find yourself without a platform. I edited your last post to remove that information.
Gracias.
Re: BTW, the Coldwell Banker thread
I dunno. I always enjoy making fun of the Coonster on IL after he makes an ass of himself on CCom. But what I really enjoy is gently provoking him on C.com so it results in yet another one of his imbecilic, tyrannical outbursts. It's easy to do. He's very predictable. And I know just how to excite him while staying within their posting guidelines. (Yes, I know that's petty of me…..but I have my own reasons after much unfortunate personal experience with him. It's a form of payback: I hand him the rope, and he makes an ass of himself. )
It's funny. For years I thought I was the only one who recognized what a jerk he is. I was delighted to find out I'm not alone in that, not by a long shot.
As far as whether or not or how much his behavior reflects poorly on Coldwell Banker, I don't really care. Why should I? They don't, evidently. It's not my responsibility to help them fix and image problem they don't even recognize.

IMO, LooneyCoons is the second most reviled person around these parts and heading for the #1 spot with each asinine day that he spends on these web forums. I know a lot of people around here and not one has ever said anything good about him. Pompous & arrogant come to almost every discussion about this guy.

Bingo,it's more satisfying to "play" him on his home court. I think it is a condition that existed long before his arrival here, and you are right, you are far from being alone. A lot of people suffer him with silence or apathy.
I just hope benjji doesn't fold his tent and steal away in the night as he kept this guy on the defensive.

Guppies? Oh, geez, back to my aquarium days. NOTE on aquariums: one does not really have to raise guppies. They do a fine job by themselves, producing more guppies at regular intervals. Like certain people on this site producing posts. QED and all that.
