Good News - Association with new firm

A few weeks ago I asked the civil court judge to give me his opinion on who were the 3 best attorneys he sees in his court, in terms of honesty, timeliness and winning. I am now associated with one of them and will be handing cases under his direction and supervision. We are a good match and I was pleasantly surprised that we have the same goals, quality, not quantity and serving the client.

Now, por favor, I would also appreciate an answer to the question about Mexican law on harming, poisoning, etc. animals.
On TOB, they have a substantial reward going for catching the dog poisoner, but short of hanging him by posse in the plaza.......what IS the law re this in Mexico?

Well there are two sets of laws I know of, one is a State animal protection law but in my reading of it only applies to owners so not a stranger. There is a municipal code, no teeth but fines of a few hundred pesos and a few ays arrest for harming property of another. I did peek into it but have been extremely busy and am looking to hire one or two more people to keep service levels high.

The municipal law of police and good government casts a broad net and actually makes illegal many daily events but is a good tool for the police to detain people and take them off the streets, if you look at it from that angle.
