Looking to play pickleball? Empty Looking to play pickleball?

We just moved back to the area and are looking for a place to play pickleball, as well as finding others who play, also.

Anyone know of any courts in the area? I already know about the courts at the Racket Club in SJC, but it appears that you have to live there to play on their courts.

Is there another place in the Ajijic area? Basketball

Thanks,

Greg

Isn't there tennis courts at the yacht club in your neighborhood (la Floresta)?

There are 2 tennis courts at the Monte Carlo Hotel. I have NEVER seen anyone on them. Try talking to them. Their English is just passable. Take a dictionary or translation app. Their "swim club" day pass is 50p. I like that deal. I didn't see the netting but if the price is right. I love the place and the white peacocks but the place is owned by the U. of Guad, so jobs for life, get it. The "swim club" deal is around 2 yrs. old and probably their biggest "initiative" in a long while. Resto side is decent. Cold beer and pitchers of fresh lemonade. Most of the time you have to hike up to the resto to get service. Once done A tip motivates them to do an occasional walkby. Bus service at the corner. I vote it "best pool" lakeside.

Thanks, CanuckBob and Borderreiver, we will check on both options.
And always good to know where you can get a cold brew after a game!

Looking to play pickleball? Empty Did you find anywhere to play?

I have just arrived here and my partner is on her way. We have 2 paddles and a few pickleballs. Would love to hear about any playing that is happening here.
