weird phone call this morning

Hi I may be overreacting but I thought this call was odd. A Mexican man called this morning and wanted to speak to a renter. I said we are renters and then he said that they are selling houses in San Antonio. I said that we aren't selling; that we rent from the owner. Then he said they want to rent. I said that there are houses for sale here in La Christina, but that I didn't know if any are for rent. He said maybe he'd come and look. I don't know if this was an honest inquiry, in broken English and Spanish or someone casing homes. Anyway, it left me feeling funny.

You may have avoided trouble. He may have been fishing for access.

I would not talk to anyone I do not know, next time he calls if he does, hangup do not give out any info on the phone.
