Mexico gets many from the southern border. Mexico sends them back to their home country.

I happened to be a guest of immigration at Mexico's southern port of entry in Tapachula for a couple of days in 1971. Late night, each night immigration pick ups arrived and dropped off a half dozen or so illegal entrants each. Then some officers would come out of their 'office' and beat the stuffings out of these folks, with some using billy clubs. It was horrific and I though they might have killed a few after they dragged them off with some being unconscious.

A lot slip through the cracks and stay put, just like they do in the US. I was surprised at how many illegals there are in GDL from Spain that haven't been deported. I guess the unemployment rate is sky high over there.
50,000 illegal Irish in the US from a country of 4 million and an ocean away.
