Ice Cream

Two of the biggest culinary disappointments, to me, in Mexico have been pizza and ice cream. Perry has me happy on the pizza front and I recently discovered Dolphy ice cream. It is really worth a try if you find Holanda lacking. They have two-for-one double cones on Thursdays and can hand pack a liter to go.

Hey Rich, there is an Haladeria in lower Chapala - the name is on the tip of my tongue, it'll come to me - that makes wonderful homemade ice cream using all sorts of fresh fruits and nuts etc for flavouring. It's a bit pricey but the quality is superb, give 'em a try.

Are you talking about the Italian icecream place?

In all honesty I'm just messin' with RichD, but yes, the one that borrowed it's name from The Bard. We go there all the time.
