Driving from lakeside to Houston, in two days.  Would like to stay in a pet friendly hotel/motel  somewhere around Monterrey for one night.   A no-tell motel also works.

Any suggestions?

Saltillo has Four Points Sheraton and Mario´s Inn on Ramos Arizpe 40D.

If you want something in the Monterrey outskirts, there are a lot of hotels out by their airport. You will 'overshoot' your 85 turnoff to Laredo by a bit but not far. I don't know about pet friendly but if you'll google "Hotels Monterrey Mx" you find them all with phone numbers/websites etc that might help.

Then in the morning backtrack just a bit to 85 north to Laredo.

Mike, not to step on your Post but..... Matehuala is 200 MILES from Monterrey. It didn't sound like he wanted to stop that soon.... it's only 7 hours from Lakeside.
