Property tax discount

Does anyone know the discount schedule for paying property taxes (predial) early? Is the 15% discount in effect until the end on January or February?

Thanks Wide Sky. So there is no rush to pay in January if it is the same in February? I am guessing that all the municipalities in the state are the same.

15% given in the Municipality of Poncitlan.

Since access to Chapala municipal will be difficult during Carnival (Feb 2-13), I would pay before next weekend. I went about 10 days ago and was in and out in 15 minutes (went around 11am). As Carnival is taking place along the malecon I expect Madero (the fountain & lights) will be blocked off which makes parking/access even more difficult.

I went this past Monday at 10:30 and walked straight to the tax agent....no waiting at all. Unbelievable.

The discount schedule is 15 % off if you pay before the end of February so no rush to pay. Go early (just after 9) in the morning and it can be quite painless. 5 % if you pay before the end of March.
