getting service for LG and Samsung refrigerators

Costco (and other stores locally) carries these refrigerators (25cf with ice maker, water, etc.), French door style .... very nice and good price.

Both of these refrigerators have a good rating. I was told by one of the local appliance shops that the issue is getting service for these 2 brands ... in contrast to service, for example, for Maytag or GE which is readily available.

I wanted to find out what the experience is of anyone who has bought an LG or Samsung and needed for any reason .....
is it available from one of the local repair people, and if parts were needed ... were they available without any problem.
