La Vid wine & cheese boutique is a great deli store with fresh goat, cow and sheep cheese and many varieties of deli meats to choose from.  The young man speaks English and will slice to order.  La Vid is located right next (east) to the Waffle House mountain side going west out of Ajijic and is open Mon-Fri 10-8 and Sat. & Sun 10-2.
