Internet in Ajijic

I have been having the hardest time with my internet. My house is just west of Aquilles Serdan on Zaragoza. I'm wondering if others in my area are also having issues. At worst, it cannot get into common sites like Gmail, and at worst, it doesn't even try.

So I'm trying to find out if it' just me, the area or everybody.

(Please ILOX, hurry up.)

While quite slow at times I'm not having any other problems in Ajijic centro.

No problems, most of the time, in upper Ajijic above Las Salvias. I just did a speed test, and its running a little slower than usual, but OK

I usually get about 10 Mb/sec down by 0.5 Mb/sec up with Telmex. Tonight it is much slower than normal, 5.5 Mb/sec down by 0.33 Mb/sec up.

I see Telmex is stringing a new line down Galeana tonite between carr. and zap.

Telmex speed is back to normal in my neighborhood 10.33 Mb/sec down by 0.47 Mb/sec up

With my backup Telecable (Izzi) connection, I am getting 5.58 down by 1.78 up

Today was the first time in a while I could actually run a speed test. 5.61 up and 0.51 down.

At the moment mine is 10.06 down and 0.46 up.

Ours was erratic for a few days. Yesterday telmex was stringing new lines on our street. Now back to normal. Hopefully upgrading and competing with Ilox.
