Julie Hensley and her husband organize very large estate and "garage" sales. She posts as Hensley on both this forum and the Chapala.com forum. There was a sale last weekend and it was posted in the "for sale" sections of both forums. There will probably not be another one until January.
There are many "bazaars" around town... most are congregated in the Riberas section of the highway (both sides). They may be worth checking out for second hand appliances.
