Apparently there was a rumor going around Ajijic that the Hotel Casa Blanca had recently been sold. In fact some woman was going around telling everyone she had bought it. This is complete BS and the owner wanted me let everyone know.

I wonder if the lack of traffic is down to the vehicles being towed. My gardener showed up on foot yesterday saying he couldn’t bring his truck (and therefore his equipment) because of the crackdown

There were actual parking spaces (4 -count 'em - 4) on Madero in Chapala yesterday at midday. Most unusual.
