No more plastic bags

My Costco cooler bag doubles as my "carry on" luggage. Those suckers hold a ton and "such a deal".

And I take my Costco cooler bag to Walmart stuffed with green cloth bags. It's getting to be hilarious trying to organize my shopping cart on the conveyor belt. Perishables/freezer/cooler go on first... and the cooler bag goes on the belt before that. Eventually, I will have trained all the baggers that the perishables/freezer/cooler products go in the cooler bag. Sigh.
Next, I'll concentrate on getting them to zip shut the cooler bag and put bottles on their sides in the cloth ones.

I loved Aldi's in the states. You either brought your bag, or took it to your car in the cart that you paid for but could redeem the fee when you returned it. Just be prepared and not entitled.

In Europe, some shopping carts require a coin to be deposited before using. The coin is retrieved when the cart when returned to the stand.

If you don't like the logo on the free bags, turn them inside out. LOL

yes in France you have to bring your bag and weigh your own produce , you can also check it out by yourself. When you return the cart you get the euro you left for depost back.. all self service.. I have never seen bags with deposits though..

In Canada too at many supermarkets.

For those who have to have plastic grocery bags you can buy them very cheap. Just Google plastic grocery bags for sale. They're cheap.
