“Off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush” (I think that's from L.A. Confidential)
At some point in the near future, Clinicia Maskaras will be moving to the new hospital, and at least one of the current health care staff (not support staff) will not be invited to go.
Remember, you heard it here first (or maybe not)

Another silly post.
They have already moved, last week. Dr. Garcia, his wife, La Doctora, Drs. Gonzalez, father and son.
The dentist is only renting space in the old building, not a principal in the business end.
Likewise Chopo.
There will be more specialists coming out from GDL on different assigned days to the new hospital.

If it was a silly post, why did you bother to feed into it by posting a reply?
Sometimes a little silly ness can bring a smile, and what's wrong with that. Have you ever acted silly?

This post is not at all silly. It is just wrong. The post is puzzling and confusing. It is odd, especially given the thread you participated in just yesterday about this hospital. Are you okay?

Re: “Off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush” (I think that's from L.A. Confidential)
Dr. Alberto Don (aka "Dr. Don") I do not believe will be associating with the hospital, and in fact might retire due to his physical problem with shaking hands.
Over the years, Dr. Don has had several issues arise as to his competency. In one instance, a patient ended up hospitalized due to an error Dr. Don made.
In another instance, Dr. Don made a full front bridge for a patient and six month later, it fell out along with three of the patients other teeth.
Some patients have sought refunds for poor work done by Dr. Don and one had to ask Dr. Garcia to intervene.
And there appeare to have been other issues with the quality of work done by Dr. Don over the years.
Around a year ago, there was a patient loudly complaining in his office about wanting a refund for oor work. He was actually making a scene of it. At that time, Dr. Don was doing work on my wife, trying to fix a botched job done by Dr. Sandra (East of Walmart on the lakeside).
Dr. Don asked me if I would write a complimentary letter to him and dive permission for him to put it in his ad in the Ojo del Lago. I said yes, and I gave him glowing accolades. and the letter was printed in the Ojo with his ad. Unfortunately, my praise was severly misplaced and he ended up doing very substandard work, causing my wife weeks of pain and suffering that she didn't deserve.
Having physical issues as he does, doesn't work well for anyone who uses sharp instruments on a patient. I would think that it's time for Dr. Don to withdraw from the practice while it is still his option.
BTW and FYI, we liked Dr. Don very much. Good personality, etc. Since he lives near us, we even invited him over to the house.
My intend in this novella, rambling if you will, is not to trash Dr. Don. I am simply putting forth facts so when people are doing due diligence on what dental care professional, they have substantive facts to help them base their decision. I wish I had seen some of the posts about the errors made by Dr. Don before I took my wife to him for the rehabilitation she needed.
You can PM me if you want any more information.
If you want to bash me, follow the rules and do it in the Octogan. Tell me it's there and I will look and respond in like tone.

I'm fine, I think. Thank you for asking. I do occasionally write in a free-association style, not the easiest to follow sometimes.
Take care.

So what will go in to the old clinic if they’re moving everything to the new hospital?

If you actually go through the clinic building, it doesn't have that many rooms. Also, most of the"staff" are not onsite, they come in either one day a week PRN.
My thought is the space would be put up for rentals. Maybe offices?
Not sure about the support staffat the front desk and for Dr. Don.
Don't know about the two pharmacies next to it.

Carlos told me the landlords wanted to put another clinic in there. We agreed they would have to put a lot of money and work into the building before that could happen. Starting with a new sewage system.Carry Bean wrote:So what will go in to the old clinic if they’re moving everything to the new hospital?
Who knows.
