Fire in Mazmitla

Does anyone know how bad the fire is in Mazmitla? A friend's horses are in danger...any updates?

I just checked on the Bomberos de Mazamitla page and nothing.

I'm in Mazamitla. There was a very thick haze along the road on the way up from the lake, but no visible fire, and nothing going on on the town.

I just read her latest post... the wind drove the fire and smoke away from her property ..the fire got within 30 feet but not actually where the horses are. It was started by someone burning a field. She says it's pretty much out but they're still soaking things down. She panicked when the smoke hid them... afraid I would have freaked too. I'm from Oregon so the possibility of fire hitting timber...scares the shit out of me.
