Rental Mgt Fees
Does anyone know what rental mgt. companies charge to manage dwellings that are not being rented out, such as paying the bills and/or help if there are employees? Can be either the peso or US dollar amount.
TIA

I am charged $100 US per month locally by an Ajijic Real Estate Company. They pay all of the fees to include those of my employees, utilities, you name it. Basically my only duties are to make a monthly payment to cover all the costs my house has incurred.

Buyer beware! My sister in law had a lawyer who was supposed to be paying her taxes and other bills. A few years later she found out some bills were never paid and he had pocketed the money. And he was a family friend also.

It is now so easy to payon line that there is no reason to pay someone to have someone paid. Banco Azteca and coppel accounts can be set up for employees and everything can be done on line. That is what I do. Bancomer pays my my phone and CFE and I pay the employees. Now ifnyou need someone to check on the employees it is another story.

I know there are alternative methods of handling this sort of thing. I asked because that is what I wanted know, just that simple.
"there is no reason" implies you know way more than what you do.

I realize I could do much myself, and if that is what you want to do, great. But I find having a property manager taking care of all of this much easier

Four other people told me that 60 USD per month is the usual rate and that 100 is way overpriced.

I pay 1100P, she pays all bills, manages any issues that are found while I am gone, manages the cleaning lady and provides monthly statements.

I live in two places in Mexico have good help in both places and do not need any manager, I used to have one and realize it was a waste of money for me.. Did away with her and give bigger bonuses to the help and everything is fine. THe situation is differnt for everyone. I was just pointing out that with the internet, whatsapp etc.. there is more than one way to do things.
