It's been a lot quieter in the eastern Pacific than they were predicting so far. Guess we'll see how far inland the rains come. Hopefully they are responding with preparations on the coast to minimize any loss of life.

Yes, I have noticed that too. Visually I can see that the lake is still slowly rising but no sharp rise like previous years. The lirio and floating masses indicate the dams are open.

If you look at 5 different weather sites you'll get 5 different predictions. It's crazy.

Yeah. Got a light sprinkle about 15 minutes ago and the stones are nearly dry again. It would be nice, though, if there was a site that could forecast correctly but I'm afraid there are too many small micro climates around the lake to make it even possible.

I´m glad I´m one of the few people who could care less about weather forecasts…….
Never have. so I´m never upset by forecasters
If it´s raining, I don´t go out, and if I am out, I head for cover. You can kind of expect rain anytime during the rainy season, or possibly when it´s cloudy.
Now farmers have a lot more at stake and people living in coastal areas need to be prepared, so they have good cause for wanting accurate forecasts.

Looks like the coastal ranges have blocked Lorena from getting to us. Hope all is well out on the coast.
