Heads up - carretera.

There is a short stretch of the newly graded carretera in Riberas that is particularly dangerous. It's the eastbound lane in the area of PEMEX. It is heavily potholed with a lot of loose gravel. If you're flying and come upon it suddenly and hit the brakes you could meet Jesus if you're unlucky. Go slow! Drive with caution through there.

That would be the best thing that could happen -think crowd of folks in the street there watliting for the bus . . . think taking out a family of 6 in the oncoming lanes etc.

Tues i was driving east by the Coca Cola place in heavy traffic as usual, and behind us, also going east, or trying to, came an ambulance! Absolutely no place to pull over on either side!!! Wonder what would happen if it had been one of the "brilliant" engineers of this project relatives? All traffic came to a stand still and he finally squeezed through.

It is what it is and everybody is going to have deal with it the best way they can when the road is crowded, whether you are a relative of the engineers or not.
Complaining about it on this board won´t change anything but just try to get out of the way the best you can when the emergency vehicles are trying to get through.
That´s the time you can/could make a difference.
