Senderos del Lago

Does anyone have any comments about renting in Senderos del Lago for a few months.

I certainly wouldn't rent one of the new houses at the very top. There is no stabilizing/retaining wall behind them, just straight cut earth. That earth is very unstable during the rainy season. Last year, part of that mountain collapsed and created a hell of a mess.

Yes, thanks. This is for a friend from Vancouver with no vehicle who is very interested in renting an Air B & B rental near the top there next January to March. I am the scout. Hopefully the ground is more stable at that time. I was concerned more with noise level and the hike to the carretera to catch a bus and internet and water supply.

Gee, cypress. I would be more concerned with running for my life if the mountain comes a tumblin' down!

I would't be. Someone who lives there reports " The landslide did not affect the upper area we were there during to whole time if the landslide."

People who live there or have lived there report "I know people who have lived in the lower

Senderos, it was clean quiet and there were no issues with water, septic, or Internet"
I guess it depends on exactly where you live. It is a large development-there must be hundreds of homes.

I am sure that at normal times and at the weekends it must get extremely busy with Mexican who own coming down for the weekends etc...it is a mainly owned/occupied Mexican community..(We are in MX!!)
