Paying Vehicle Registration

Hi, has anyone missed paying their registration for a year and if so, what happened when you paid it the next year? Thanks very much and have a nice afternoon.

Fines and penalties but right now there is a 50% discount so cheaper to pay 2020 fees now and not wait

the discount is for 2020??

It is for past due, we went with someone today who got discounts for 2019 and 2020

Off topic somewhat but I have a question about traffic tickets from other states in Mexico. Will these tickets appear at the recaudadora in Jalisco for my Jalisco plated vehicles at the end of the year when I renew registration?

so frijoles you cannot pay on line becaue there is a discrepency between what you enter and what the system has so yo have to go to the office to figure ot out. Make sure they corret it so you can pay on line next year...

I was determined to get all my dues for the year out of the way today. Paid Simapa and the house taxes but the car payment has eluded me. I went to THREE places for that as listed on the downloaded bill... Oxxo (where I went last year) couldn't accept it... Farmacia Guadalajara couldn't accept it and neither could Walmart. I gave up.
If anyone DOES have luck paying it at one of the listed places, please post WHERE. T.I.A.

Did you have an increase over last year at Simapa?

Paid the refrendo at Farmacia Guadalajara Ajijic just now.

Which Farmacia de Guadalajara because the one in the Hospital San Antonio complex would not accept payment............ OR, something was done because I complained at the Recaudadora on Friday about all the places that would not accept payment.
First time ever that I've gotten everything paid for in the first week of January... even pre-paid (a bono) at the machines at the CFE in Chapala for a whole years worth of service charges on my electric bill.

The one by the hospital is in SAT.

fyi, you can also pay CFE in advance (anticipado I think the machine says) at the ATMs in the lobby of BBVA in Ajijic.

Still haven't been able to view the 2023 SIMAPA bill on line....were you?

Simapa is so close to me and next door to the Oxxo where I pay most bills anyway. It was the first bill that I paid and I just took last year's bill with me to do so.
Quite frankly, I'd rather go to CFE in Chapala than try to find ANY parking in Ajijic. I live in Riberas del Pilar.

Yeah, I feel the same about going to Chapala Plus if you live in Ajijic, parking is not an issue as you can walk to bank, Oxxo, Simapa.

SIMAPA office in Ajijic is convenient for me, but doesn't take US cc's.  If I could see bill online I'd be able to bring the right amount of $$$.  

Have read on FB that some water bills have doubled.

Have until end of Feb. for discount. The slow wait in Jan. is often due to property managers paying multiple clients' bills, really bogs down the line.

OXXO is not listed as a place to pay. At least it isn't on my forms.

I noticed that too, Bob. That's why I went to Farmacia Guadalajara. Easy in and out, the receipt looks OK (says refrendo on it).

Will give it a few days to see if it posts correctly so I can print registration form to put in car.

I paid my car registration at Walmart yesterday. Had to go to regular cashier - not the service desk. Only cash... no credit card.

Paid both mine at Farmacia Guadalajara.

Just now I was able to access, save and print the refrendo that I paid on Monday at Farmacia Guadalajara.

When I go in now it just says, "vehicle has no debt". There is nothing else to save or print anything. I guess I'll just use the receipt from payment.
