Pfizer Vaccine

Today is the last day to get the 1st Pfizer shot in Tlajomulco (if you're 60 and older).  You need your registration form, CURP, CFE bill and identification (Passport, Permanente).  Here is the location:

Just heard on the news (CNN), that Pfizer will be the least effective after one year and will need booster shots. Hopefully Sinovac will have a longer effective lifetime.
All the others seem to be having problems of one kind or the other.  Maybe those waiting for more results made the wiser choice. Pfizer did rush to get it out there first, probably better than nothing.

Well Pfizer probably just reached the one year mark of their clinical studies and are noticing their guinea pigs aren't showing much antibodies anymore.

It is my suspicion that this Coronavirus is going to require a yearly vaccination. It may be included with the annual flu shot... or not. Nobody knows for sure at this point.
In other words, probably none of the Covid-19 vaccines are a one (two) shot deal and you're good for life.

Hola! I heard from friends who went today that the operation in Tlajomulco was really well organized and efficient. Friends who went said they weren't sure if they'd be continuing tomorrow. Does anybody know if they'll still be doing more tomorrow, Saturday, in Tlajomulco?

Thanks. I found a Facebook page associated with it and asked if they'd be doing more today and didn't get a reply.....so guess I missed it. Friends said it was spectacularly well run and organized. They never even had to get out of the car. Drive thru jabs!

It should be noted that it took 1.5 hrs from the time initially in line to the departure from the facility, which included the 30 minutes wait after the injection. The organization and execution of the process was flawless. Documentation of the shot including the LOT # was also supplied at the time of the injection. Also note that Pfizer was administered vs Sinovac which has a significant difference in their effectiveness (95% vs 50.38%). This is a far cry from the fiasco that was experienced locally in Chapala and Ajijic.

Friends yesterday flew through it even faster. I hope I hear about it sooner next time.

But the bad news, I think it is Moderna, is already working on a third stage vaccine. I think we are going to be forced to change our entire infrastructurre of public health hygiene and management. Not just filtering water, but air too. Otherwise, move to the Italian Alps.
