Fresh Turkey

Does anyone know where I purchase or order a couple fresh Turkeys. Thank you!

Puritan poultry.

For years my wife and I would battle over Turkey. I always ceded to her superior culinary knowledge.

I wanted a frozen Turkey from the grocery store. She insisted on a fresh Turkey from the local Butcher. The fresh Turkey was I believe about a dollar a pound more expensive.

That all ended the last time I picked up the fresh, expensive bird from the Butcher and brought it home to wifey still partially frozen.

I always ask there, and they always tell me they only get frozen. Even at that, they have been about 40p more per kilo that Walmart.

Ok Thanks everyone, I also just came across Kenny and Cam on facebook, they sell all types of meat and deliver. They will let me know later today how much the cost, but they definitely said Yes we have fresh Turkeys.

I am curious about their offerings. Scant information on FaceBook other than what they sell. No indication where they get anything..... what's in them, how they are raised, how fresh they are, etc.

As far as I know they shop at the abastos. They are easy to deal with.
