Change in Jalisco mask rules
I just read on Facebook, no more mandatory masks everywhere.
BREAKING: Jalisco Governor Alfaro scraps mandatory face mask regulation. Now only required to be worn on public transport and in all health care facilities. Students also no longer obliged to wear them.
I’ll still be wearing mine for a while longer.

Re: Change in Jalisco mask rules
Very few masks on at Chapala Tianguis this afternoon ~ I wondered why. But older mex women & me had 'em on.. It was a hot one today, veggies having a rough time @ 91F/33C. Vendors having a rough time too - I wish more expats would do 'farm to table' & go there. I am often the only gringa in afternoon when crowds thin out. Veggies nicely bagged in 10 peso bags @ many stalls. Felt a greater sense of desperation today than I have previously. Where else can you spend 100 pesos, buy the entire rainbow for a week, and it keeps, cause its so fresh? (sorry, i hijacked your thread..)
