We signed docs back in late-Nov 2022 for a lakeside property purchase, and now little less than 3 months, we haven't received REGISTERED property deed.  Have no clue what's going on, since Notario doesn't respond to calls.  Last correspondence was mid-Jan when we received a CERTIFIED copy of deed and was told we should complete everything (ie get REGISTERED deed) by mid-Feb.  Initially, we were told because of the holidays, it could run longer than the average time, but 3 months!

What is other's time frame and /or experience on completing the Property Closing process?

It took us 6 mo. to get the deed... The certified copy is not accepted by CFE to change the name on the account which is further holding up our installing of solar... Welcome to the wonderful world of Disney Sud...

Yikes!  Guess I won't be holding my breath. Property Closing - Time Frame 1f600

Having same CFE issue; but we're building, so we're not onsite yet.  If you don't mind me asking, was there any issues or was it just the process?

There were issues... We purchased two lots and the sq meters didn't agree with what was on record so the Notario had to call for a survey... Normally if such exists, it should take about three months... When we lived here previously, we were tagged for a swiming pool that was missed on two previous sales of the property... Let's just say that documentation can only get better...
