Phone/Tablet Option in One Device

Now that we are travelling more, I wanted to eliminate carting my Lenovo netbook around the world. However I found a standard cell phone screen to be too small for comfort on an extended trip. I considered tablets but for me they are clunky to carry around as a cell phone alternative.

Lo and behold Samsung's Fold 4 phone seems to fit the bill for me.

When closed it is the size of a standard cell phone (albeit a tad heavier). When folded open the screen is about 5 x 6 inches, enough of an expanded screen size to be easy on the eyes.

It has a fully functional screen when folded shut, just as I am used to on previous cells. But when I need more viewing space, I can open it to the bigger screen.

I just thought I'd mention this as others may find it a useful alternative. I bought it on sale about a month ago at Costco Mexico online and it shipped to my home quickly.
