OK, thanks.  Are you satisfied with the service? What speed? Stable? (or as stable as Telmex can be)

Thanks

I've had the service about two years and it is a big improvement in speed and reliability compared to the old wired DSL. Speedtest shows me having about 152 mbps download and 65 mbps upload. I use this service for all of my internet work and streaming video.

Stability has not been a problem at all. No outages lasting days like sometimes before. The only thing I worry about is that the fiber optic cables are so fragile and they are installed in a veritable rats nest on the poles. With all of the construction going on in W. Ajijic, I just know some A##^%$ carrying a backhoe on a flat bed truck us going to snag these lines and take down an entire neighborhood. I would feel better if they were installed underground in a conduit.

I almost ready to switch to Starlink. The local suppliers seem to have constant problems with consistent speeds and reliability mainly due to the absolute abhorrent way they string the cables. Until they fix that (which is probably never) there will always be issues IMO. All the Starlink users I know here and in Canada are quite happy with the speeds and reliability. Things will only continue to improve with Starlink.
