Drove by last eve and thought I saw a For Sale sign on Mannix. Did I really see that?

Not quite true...... The restaurant premises are owned by the family. The family want their money so it's (the building) is for sale.

Yes, Hector is moving to his new location in West Ajijic the first week of January. So no, Manix is not closing.
