Anyone See Fresh/Homemade Buñuelos For Sale in Ajijic?

Years ago we'd trip over women selling buñuelos this time of year. They used to sell on the street corners, malecón, bring trays of them to sell inside restaurants.

Last year I only found some on fringes of Ajijic Tianguis.

Seen any around Ajijic recently?

And please don't tell me that Bimbo sells small packs of them. Theirs are a piss-poor excuse for a buñuelo.

There's a cart frying them up fresh in front of Pablo's Totillería on the lakeside of carretera in Ajijic.  Mia's Boutique is almost directly opposite on the mountain-side of carretera if that helps you location-wise.

8 pesos each.  

She will ask you if you want it with sugar.  The answer is always, Sí.

They are also being offered as a take-out option at Panino's restaurant

What about the churro store on the plaza in Ajijic fresh and hot otherwise it is not worth having .Deep fry food is only good fresh off the oil.
